“Journey”<\/p>\n
This is a hand crafted, one-of-a-kind necklace created by me in my Maine studio. Each of these altered art, Steampunk style pieces takes me at least a week to compose and assemble. I sit at my work table surrounded by charms, findings, papers and various bits and pieces thinking, moving bits into the piece and away until I have a composition I am pleased with. Usually the inspirational saying I choose, the intention if you will, leads to the rest of the composition.<\/p>\n
Journey is one of my favorite inspirational words and can represent travel or a journey of a different kind – a spiritual or a life journey of some sort – beginning meditation and developing a growing awareness, starting a higher education of some sort, a new job, moving to a new city… any journey through life that one begins upon…..<\/p>\n
Each piece is meant to evoke a feeling, memories or emotions. Does this one speak to you? Make a statement wearing this beautiful art jewelry. Makes a great gift too!<\/p>\n
The pendant is 2″ diameter. The chain is stainless steel and is 24″ long.<\/p>\n
The piece is water resistant but I would not wear it in the shower or swimming. Dancing in the rain is a must.<\/p>\n
